Outcome
- This training program of CSI Protocol, a generally received and adopted tool in dealing with the GHG emission of cement industry, is definitely needed. From the feedback of the workshop participants, it is also an active response to Chinese national strategy of increasing energy efficiency and reducing environment pollution in cement industry. 41 participants were issued the Training Certificate of CSI training by the experts. This training laid a good basis for the data statistics in China.
- The Chinese government representative, Mr. Liu Ming from NDRC proposed a 3-step CSI data collection process in China, the first step to start from the cement companies merged by international companies, such as Lafarge, Cemex, Italicementi, etc. and the second to continue at the large & middle size companies which have been trained, then the last to spread to all cement companies in China.
- The Chinese organizer closed the meeting by thanking all APP members and experts for their diligent work and effort during the workshop and all participants for their active involvement.
